We Will Remember Them Always Challenge.

This is a Special challenge to raise money for the Armed Forces Charities.

Over the past few years, Race The Distance and our many comitted runners have raised over £50,000 for Armed Forces charities, such as SSAFA, and The Royal British Legion.

We will donate £3 for every medal sold, at this special price of £8.99.

Please note the links to record your time and distance will be sent 6th September, and the medals will be posted next working day from your purchase.

What do i have to do to complete the challenge?

This is a 'one-off' activity challenge, you have the option of 2k, 5k, 10k, half, or full marathon. Once you have completed your challenge simply fill in your submission link, and you have finished!

What is a virtual challenge? A virtual challenge can done from any location you choose. You can run, jog, walk, cycle, swim, use of a wheelchair - whatever you choose and however you choose to complete a distance. There is no restriction on discipline. We aim to be as inclusive as impossible.

Submitting and Claiming your Medal

You will be emailed a separate link / web page when you sign up, to upload your progress as and when you want to. Your medal will be sent on purchase. For this challenge it's a one off submission, please complete submission link after your activity.' Your submission link should arrive within a few minutes of purchase, please email us at info@racethedistance.com if this doesn't arrive after a few hours.

Checking Your Progress

We have a real-time results system with instant tables, sort-able by age, gender and Country. We also have live tracking 'journeys' with fully interactive maps for our annual and seasonal longer challenges!

Strava Connect

Uploading your progress could not be easier with our challenges allowing you to upload activities direct from Strava. Do not worry if you do not have Strava, as you can also add activities manually.

Personalised Downloadable Certificate

Each competitor will receive a downloadable personalised challenge certificate with details of their results included.

Charity Donation: If you would like to choose a military charity that your donation will go to, please email us at info@racethedistance.com and in the email title simply write the name of the charity, you can choose from the list below or add an 'other'
