We created Race The Distance, as an initiative to raise money for charity, something we have been doing in various forms for many years now.
In 2013 after raising £40,000 for Cancer Research UK we we're humbled to be nominated, and consequently win the 2013 'Flame Of Hope award for fundraising'.
We raised this money through various innovative events, with the help of a lot of people collectively. However, soon the campaign was over.
We were looking for a new way to raise funds for charity, something that had longevity and could benefit many different charities big and small and this is it.We are a small group of family and friends, all with different levels of fitness and ability and this form of running and competing seemed like such an inclusive and interesting way to keep fit and help some amazing causes.
