2024 World Cancer Day Challenge

World Cancer Day takes place on 4th February, 2024

On 4 February we celebrate World Cancer Day 2024 – a day that unites people, communities and entire countries to raise awareness and take action. 

This challenge is to raise awareness and also funds for Cancer Research UK. £2.50 from each entry will be donated.

Choose between 1 Mile, 2K, 5K, 10K, Half Marathon and Full Marathon.

Strictly Limited to 75 places, this bright, colourful medal which can be earned from a one-off activity, is an award for a great start to 2024, and your health and fitness goals being one step closer than before!

What do i have to do to complete the challenge?
This is a 'one-off' activity challenge, you have the option of 2k, 5k, 10k, half, or full marathon. Once you have completed your challenge simply fill in your submission link, and you have finished!

What is a virtual challenge?  A virtual challenge can done from any location you choose. You can run, jog, walk, cycle, swim, use of a wheelchair - whatever you choose and however you choose to complete a distance.  There is no restriction on discipline.  We aim to be as inclusive as impossible. 

Submitting and Claiming your Medal
You will be emailed a separate link / web page when you sign up, to upload your progress as and when you want to.  Your medal will be sent on purchase. For this challenge it's a one off submission, please complete submission link after your activity.' Your submission link should arrive within a few minutes of purchase, please email us with our contact us form if this doesn't arrive after a few hours.

Checking Your Progress
We have a real-time results system with instant tables, sort-able by age, gender and Country.   We also have live tracking 'journeys' with fully interactive maps for our annual and seasonal longer challenges!

Uploading your progress could not be easier with our challenges allowing you to upload activities direct from Strava.  Do not worry if you do not have Strava, as you can also add activities manually.
