The 2023 Halloween 13km Challenge

LIMITED TO 75 PLACES.

Run/walk, cycle, swim, wheelchair, or a combination of any, 13km, moving along our Virtual tracking map, Complete this challenge at a time and place that suits your schedule  to receive your exclusive medal. Our virtual tracking map taking us 13km, finishing at Bran castle Romania, the home of Dracula!

The 13km can be done in as many goes as it takes, you can do it all at once, or 13 1km walks if you fancy, simply update your link after any activity, cross the virtual finish line, and your medal will be sent!

The medal is a stunning pumpkin design that only gets better when the lights go out!!

Ideal as a half term activities idea for the whole family.

What is a virtual challenge?  A virtual challenge can done from any location you choose. You can run, jog, walk, cycle, swim, use a wheelchair - whatever you choose and however you choose to complete a distance.  There is no restriction on discipline.  We aim to be as inclusive as impossible. 

Submitting and Claiming your Medal

You will be emailed a separate link / web page when you sign up, to upload your progress as and when you want to.  Your medal will be sent as soon as you 'complete the map' *please email us at info@racethedistance.com if your link doesn't arrive.

Checking Your Progress

We have a real-time results system with instant tables, sort-able by age, gender and Country.   We also have live tracking 'journeys' with fully interactive maps for our annual and seasonal longer challenges!

All the routes follow real life roads and trails, target the next town along on the map,  pass landmarks, cross countries, it's going to be fun!

Uploading your progress could not be easier with our challenges allowing you to upload activities direct from Strava.  Do not worry if you do not have Strava, as you can also add activities manually.
