The Turkiye and Syria Earthquake Appeal
Two powerful earthquakes have struck Turkey and Syria in the space of 12 hours.
The first earthquake measuring 7.8 magnitude hit south-eastern Turkey, near the Syrian border and the second one struck four kilometres outside Ekinozu in central Turkey.
Over 11,000 people have died so far in Turkey and Syria, and more than 37,000 people have been injured and displaced.
Major buildings have collapsed and the numbers are expected to rise as the search for survivors continues in both countries.
The pictures we are seeing are heart-breaking, the amount of people who have been affected is astonishing, we shared the sentiments in your messages to us that we are obligated to 'do our bit' to help in this awful disaster.

We will also be donating to the emergency action aid appeal
We have designed this medal in response to the many messages we have had to support the people of Turkiye and Syria during this terrible time. 100% of profits will be split between UNICEF and the Red Cross, and will be donated to their respective earthquake crisis appeals.
Thank you for your design suggestions, We have drawn on these to create the medal. The two countries flags, wrapped in a heart.
The challenge will be 2k, 5k, 7k, 10k, Half or Marathon to make it inclusive as possible.

This is all about the charity, so everyone who donates will receive a medal please note the medal and certificate will take approximately 4 weeks from launch (09.02.23), and will be sent as soon as they arrive with us, as this has been launched so quickly that manufacture of the medals will start tomorrow.
